Hello all! Thank you to everyone who tuned in for our latest episode this past Thursday. Our usual cast joined us last week, and there was lots of interesting discussion and great music to be had. We had an outstanding start to the year, made even better by a photoshoot by photographer Adrian Gutierrez (thanks Adrian!). He took some great pictures during the show that you can check out above, if you want to see what we’re up to. Included in this week’s episode are topics such as:

  • Stephen Colbert running for President?
  • Student Government and Spring Semester Events!
  • Coachella 2011 lineup announced.
  • Concordia’s Pita-palooza (Middle Eastern Week)

In addition, we had a great lineup of music on tap. Here’s links to the songs you’ll be hearing in this week’s episode (in order):

Hope you enjoyed this week’s broadcast! As always, tune in right here at 9PM on Thursdays for our live show. If you have any song requests, by all means let us know through the link on the right side of this page. Enjoy!

It looks like 8 months in a federal prison hasn’t changed Lil Wayne much. Eleven days after being released from Riker’s Island Correctional Facility, Dwayne Carter (formerly know as Inmate #02616544L) has laid down and recorded his first post-prison verses in the form of a remix to Birdman’s latest single, “Fire Flame”. Wayne sounds more focused and lucid than ever, dropping those signature metaphors and unforgettable lines all over this track. Factor in a thinly-veiled reference to the upcoming Tha Carter IV, and we’ve got a potential hit on our hands that not only heralds Wayne’s re-entrance into the music industry, but also heightens anticipation for the already long-awaited album. Happy Wednesday everyone, and enjoy!

For today’s track of the day, we’re bringing you one of the hottest remixes of the year - the official Benzi & Willy Joy remix to Kevin Rudolf’s hit single, “I Made It”, which features Cash Money labelmates Jay Sean, Birdman, and Lil Wayne. This completely reworked track is a treat to listen to, with a nice bassline and an insane breakdown - this is going to get played in the clubs all the way into 2011, guaranteed. Enjoy, and remember - if you’ve got any requests for songs to play during next week’s show, be sure to enter them via the link on the left side of this page!
