As of today, there are only 13 short days until I leave on vacation for three weeks. As of right now, the plan is to fly into Paris, stay there for three days, and then take the TGV train line out to the Atlantic coast of France. There I’ll meet up with my uncle to do a week or so of sailing, after which I’ll take yet another train into Amsterdam to spend some time with my good friends there. So far, the trip has been coming together great logistics-wise - which is amazing, considering the amount of variables that are factored into something like this. I’m already planning what sites I would like to see, poring over the routes we may be sailing, and reviewing flight information. I’m looking forward to it like no other, and I think for a little while it will be a nice reprieve from Austin, as well as an outstanding opportunity to experience a new part of the world. Until my departure, I will continue my daily routine as I always have…and for now, that consists of 40 hour work weeks, runs in the hot sunshine, and relaxing all day. Not a bad way to spend a summer, in my opinion.
Hard to believe I’m going to be experiencing similar scenery in just under two weeks. So excited it’s ridiculous.
