…was without a doubt, Lil Wayne and Eminem performing “Drop the World” before leading into “Forever”, with Drake. Unbelievable.

Looking forward to this new beginning (online, as it were); I love everything you post!
Someday, all of this will become nothing but memories, shards of a fragmented past.
Really liking this track by Erykah Badu, “Jump In the Air (Stay There)”, featuring none other than the ubiquitous Lil Wayne. This emerged on the net late last year as a low-quality studio rip and now it has arrived in full CD-quality. Supposedly, this is the first single, with nine other versions of the track to follow, each featuring a different guest artist. Thoughts?

So Happy I Could Die - Lady Gaga
Just wanted to share “Blackout”, one of my favorite tracks from arguably one of the greatest lyricists of all time. Looking forward to Lupe’s upcoming album, Lasers, more than ever now.

So, I’ve decided I’m going to be posting more of my own content and snapshots into my own life, rather than a bevy of reblogs and what-not (although those while still stick around). What do you think? Yes, no, maybe?

Just wanted to share one of my favorite cuts off of Diplo’s latest offering, Free Gucci: the Best of the Cold Wat Mixtapes. Regardless of whether you like Gucci as an artist, any of the tracks on this mixtape are worth a look purely because of their fresh sound given to them by a sound roster of top-notch DJs and producers.
Gorillaz - “Stylo” ft. Bobby Womack and Mos Def
Everyone’s favorite cartoon band is back.
Fresh off the news that they’ll be headlining Sunday night at Coachella, Gorillaz come correct with the first single from their upcoming album Plastic Beach. “Stylo” is a minimalist-disco tune that plows ahead on top of Damon Albarn’s rhythmic, mantra-like singing. Bobby Womack lends his pipes to great effect here, humanizing the “electric love” song with his signature wail while Mos Def’s short verse at the end sounds filtered through a 2-way radio, like he’s calling home-base from the funky mothership.
Plastic Beach is due on March 9. Guests on the album include Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Little Dragon, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Lou Reed, and Mick Jones.
